Brand Story
Missoula Tonight is a free, independent guide to Missoula shows, dances, game nights and food trucks, updated twice daily.
What it is
Missoula Tonight is an events calendar for Missoula, Montana. It lists things you can go out and do with other people: live music and DJ nights, dance nights and lessons, trivia, karaoke and game nights, plays and comedy, talks and workshops, group fitness classes, community events, and food truck stops.
Why it exists
Show news in Missoula is spread thin. Some of it lands on venue websites, some on Facebook or Instagram, some on ticket pages, and some only on community calendars. No single place carries all of it. Missoula Tonight brings those public sources together in one calendar, so you can see the whole evening in one place. It is the most complete and up-to-date list of what is on in Missoula on any given evening.
How listings are gathered
Listings come from public websites, Facebook and Instagram accounts, ticket pages, and community calendars. Every event page links back to its sources, so you can check the venue's own post before you head out. When a venue cancels or moves a show, the listing is marked as soon as the sources show the change. Listings that drop off their sources are taken down.
How listings stay fresh
The calendar refreshes twice a day, around 5 am and 4 pm Mountain time. A show that is announced in the morning usually shows up by the afternoon refresh.
Who it is for
Missoula Tonight is for anyone in Missoula who wants to get out tonight or this weekend: to hear a band, go dancing, play trivia, or find a food truck.
Who runs it
Jared Smith built Missoula Tonight in July 2026 to help people get out and see live shows more often, and he still runs it. He has lived in Missoula on and off since he was two. The site is free and carries no ads.
How to write the name
